Who we are
The Brand
Where the Brand Came From
Our inspiration surprisingly came from a 3 metre square of land.
As defined by the “What3Words” app, our office is located at:
/// words.still.train – inspiring the name WordStill.
In 1975, Chemist & Pharmacist, Paolo Rovesti discovered terracotta pots used for distillation dating back to around 3000BC from the Indus Valley in West Pakistan. Evidence that civilization has long understood the need for refining liquids to improve and protect life. Ideas are like liquids. They flow, coalesce and change. When ideas are formulated as words, they can be distilled into powerful knowledge.
Distilling ideas into knowledge is what we do.
We love working with clients, helping them to shape their ideas about their challenges and what they need to achieve, to grow into a stronger version of themselves. Just as a glass Graham Condenser Fractional Still contains a helical spiral, our logo has a triple helix representing the client, the learner and our team, growing together in a 3 way synergetic relationship. The flame like shape represents the energy that removes impurities, extracts the greatest value and creates a higher strength output.
Supporting the Emergency Services
Chris Sheldrick & Mohan Ganesalingam conceived the idea of the What3words App when Chris struggled to get bands and equipment to music event locations. The app defines every 3m square on the entire surface of our planet using just three words. It has a wide variety of uses, but is finding success, being used by the emergency services to respond faster to locations that have no obvious identity.
We’re happy to promote What3Words and the benefit it brings the wider community.
